Caturday: Lou has his own bed

I finally made my cat his own bed. Mostly just because I wanted to play with the overcast foot my mom found. I made it from some fleece my partner bought for a scarf. I think the little guy likes it. He's been sleeping on it since I showed it to him on Thursday.

The return of my feet

My sewing machine presser feet and accessories that is. I've been looking for my extra presser feet for years now. I lost the nondescript vinyl bag in a move at some point, and no one knew where they went. I just had my basic foot, a walking foot and a quilting foot. But now I'm getting back all the fabulous feet that came with my sewing machine! No more hand-sewing zippers and blind hems! I'll be able to create button holes with ease and overcast my edges! Apparently someone had thought my feet were make-up and put them in my mom's bathroom. I'll even be getting the monogram foot back so that I can add little decorative elements to hems and sleeves and pockets! I just can't wait.

Buster Bluth is a Monster

Unfortunately, as you can see, I didn't correct for the reversed image. C'est la vie.
Maybe I should another one my favorite Buster Bluth moments:

Thrift Store Find: Cat Mug

The boyfriend only paid a dime for this gem. It's my new favorite mug.
